No one will buy new phones in the future. Currently there are only two types of phones, Featured phone and Smart phones. But there is a bang entry of modular phone. Now, you are thinking what is modular phone? Let me explain to you.
The basic concept behind modular phone is that you get a shell and you add modules to it like camera module, speaker module, projector module etc. In rough language you can say that you assemble your mobile according to your need like if you need high performance processor you add module of high performance in your mobile. For high resolution camera you need a high resolution module to your phone and so on.
Modules, new word for you???
Modules are like small package that attaches to shell of your phone and adds functionality to your mobile. A camera module contains camera in it, Ram module contain Ram in it. Suppose there is a module of projector when you attach it to your phone it adds functionality of projector to your mobile.
Really there is no need to buy new phone in future
But it will take few years to develop that kind of perfection so that you can upgrade every part of your mobile. At present there are two modular phones available in market one is from Moto Z by Lenovo and LG G5
But these mobiles are not offering you fully modular functions you can add only some basic modules like enhanced camera, more powerful battery etc. But personally I like the kind of innovation introduced by these company. You can say it is the future of mobiles modular functions.
